This 1970’s Kwikset mid-century front door knob entrance lockset kit is unused and sealed in its original packaging. This knob is the classic Kwikset “Copa” design, which they still manufacture to this very day, but the definitely don’t make them in this classic retro “etched brass” textured finish. “Made in Anaheim, California USA” by the Emhart Hardware Group, this Kwikset knob is heavy and well-crafted. It feels solid and good to grip and turn when entering the home.
This mid-century front door knob is an early keyless combination lock model. From K&K Distributors of Moreland Ave, Atlanta, GA, this item won the silver medal at the 7th Annual World-Wide Inventors Expo! It is very heavy and well-built, and has great retro Hollywood Regency style. The all metal construction has a decorative metallic gold textured finish, and the kit includes two absolutely fabulous escutcheon back plates. This was also a new old stock item and was complete with all hardware, trim, instructions and installation template.
